Susan Walgate
founder/artist - biography
Formal art training at Academie Noord, Antwerp, Belgium 2005-2008, studying under Annemie Van Bael and Marilou Van Lierop. Since returning to the UK, success with regular local exhibitions and sales. Private collections across the UK, International collections in Antwerp, Basel and Toronto. Graduated from Open University 2015 BsC Open Degree.
Living and working in home studio in North Yorkshire.
The artist gives you expressions of faces and figures, scapes and suburbs, working from life and photographs in charcoals, watercolours and oils on canvas, board and paper, exploiting colour and light to create a narrative for exhibition, for the office and waiting room rental market and commission.
